Blueprint Wealth Hosts Inaugaral Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea Fundraiser to Help Beat Cancer
On the 18th June 2015, Blueprint Wealth hosted its first Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser to help Cancer Council Western Australia raise vital funds for cancer prevention, research and support services. The event raised $1567.50 for Cancer Council WA.
For over 20 years, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea has helped fund world class research, prevention programs and support services for cancer patients and their families. Blueprint Wealth is pleased to be contributing to this work in 2015. David Baruffi, Director of Blueprint Wealth said, “It was an honour to host this event and to be part of working towards a cancer-free future for our community. We are proud to support such a worthy cause that affects too many Australians.”
Guest speaker, Dr Prue Cormie, a Senior Research Fellow and an Accredited Exercise Physiologist, shared the research and clinical work she is doing at the event: “I was so pleased to be part of the Blueprint Wealth Biggest Morning Tea fundraiser and to share the work our team has been doing and how much it’s been influencing the lives of people affected by cancer,” she said. “We want to encourage more Western Australians to exercise and also promote greater awareness about how exercise can help improve the quality of life in cancer patients and survivors.”
The partnership with Cancer Council WA is important and meaningful to the team at Blueprint Wealth. We have been providing pro-bono financial advice for the last several years to individuals who are going through cancer treatment and have seen first-hand the challenges that people face during this time.
