Coming from a migrant family, I understand firsthand that opportunity is built through resilience, hard work, and thoughtful decisions. I moved from Indonesia to Australia at the age of 16—a time of significant challenge and change. As I learned to navigate a new culture and social environment, I also faced the pressure of catching up academically. While those years were demanding, they shaped the values, determination, and empathy that define who I am today.

Through working multiple jobs and countless late nights, I graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Commerce from Curtin University. These experiences taught me discipline, independence, and the importance of planning ahead—qualities that continue to guide my work as a financial planner.

My work ethic was inspired by my parents. My father, an economist, and my mother, a banker, worked tirelessly to create a stable and secure life for our family in a country without a strong safety net. Their commitment to planning and perseverance left a lasting impression on me. As a working mother myself, I’m driven by the same purpose: to build a bright and secure future for my son, just as my parents did for me.
