Growing up on a farm in Collie in the beautiful Southwest of Western Australia taught me about running a business and planning for the future from an early age. My dad ran the farm as well as owning the local real estate company meant that I could observe how hard work and perseverance paid off. I had the best teacher in this regard.
My parents taught their children about money from an early age. These are the same lessons that I pass onto my own children now. We were encouraged to buy our own cows and look after them. This only became an issue when my dad realised his 3 sons were on a path to have a bigger herd than him.
I was encouraged to move to Perth to study at university and once I had completed my Bachelor of Commerce, I applied for a job at Blueprint Wealth. This is still the only place I have worked since I left university in 2005 and this is because of the environment the company provides. Leaving university, I didn’t know that I would be a career financial planner but I naturally fell into the job. Having a interest in people and their lives has made this the perfect role for me. I enjoy helping people through financial decisions, but more importantly, I am concerned about how this impacts their overall lifestyle and enjoyment of life.
University was also the place where I met my future wife Robyn, who was on exchange from America. Fast forward many years and we are married with two beautiful daughters. My own family experiences growing up are now helping us in how we bring our girls up. I am a strong believer in family and how having finances in a healthy position that can make a better life for our families.

I was born and raised in Perth in a tight-knit family of my parents and three siblings.
Growing up, I was initially drawn to music and enjoyed playing drums in bands through school and beyond. Throughout high school I was always drawn to architecture as a career option until I stumbled upon my true calling through an unexpected avenue: a high school economics class and a stock market game that sparked my interest in investing.
A pivotal moment occurred when my Dad took me to a Curtin University open day during my last few years of high school. Meeting a financial advisor there opened my eyes to the impact financial guidance can have and the growing need for high quality financial advice in Australia. Hearing about the positive changes it brings to lives inspired me to pursue this path.
My academic journey led me to complete a Bachelor of Commerce, with majors in Financial Planning and Economics. Since completing my undergraduate studies, learning has been a constant as I navigate the ever-changing landscape.
I started my career at Blueprint Wealth right after university in 2005, later gaining valuable experience as a Financial Advisor at two large banks, before returning to Blueprint Wealth in 2012. Throughout my career, I have believed in the value of cultivating lasting relationships with clients, which is the very essence of Blueprint Wealth’s approach.
What keeps me engaged is the blend of personal connections and financial problem-solving. Helping people navigate their financial landscapes and achieving their own personal goals, while delving into the intricate details is what makes my work both rewarding and stimulating.
Personally, I’m married with two spirited young boys. When I’m not at work or with my family, you might find me at the gym, enjoying music, or catching a good movie.

Coming from a migrant family, I know firsthand that opportunities are created through resilience, hard work, and smart decisions. Moving from Indonesia to Australia as a 16-year-old was challenging. Not only did I have the pressure of trying to fit in socially and culturally, I also had to catch up academically. But these difficult years were a blessing as they helped me become the person I am today. Through working multiple jobs and countless late nights, in 2008, I graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Curtin University.
Looking back, I can see that my independence and work ethic were inherited from my parents. My Dad was an economist and my Mum was a banker. They worked hard to build a stable and secure life for my brother and in a country with no real safety net. I hope the dedication I put into my work today sets the foundation for a bright future for my son, just like my parents did for me.
This is my story. My goal is to get to know the story of each and every one of my clients so that I can help them make informed decisions and achieve their financial dreams. This is what drives me as a financial planner.

Growing up in Perth I had strong support from my family to focus on my interests. From as young as I can remember I enjoyed the challenge and competition in sports. I always strived to be a leader and it became a passion I never lost. My Dad owned his own business and encouraged my siblings and I to find our own paths in life whilst he worked hard to support the family. After high school, I spent time working and building various skill sets then in 2008 I decided to take the leap and operate my own business.
Growing a small business in my twenties certainly had its challenges but was ultimately very rewarding and many of the relationships with various stakeholders I still maintain today. As the Managing Director of a small team, I worked across multiple facets but financial analysis and management was always my cornerstone. I decided at age 25 that I would like further education which led me to realise my passion for education. Whilst continuing to manage the business I completed a Bachelor of Commerce Degree in Banking and Finance. Towards the end of the degree I was introduced to the financial advice profession through a mentor and have been in the industry ever since. In 2017 I completed a Master of Financial Planning and have also become accredited by the FPA as a Certified Financial Planner.
My experience and unique path to becoming an adviser ultimately helps me relate to clients in various circumstances. I have developed a focus on business owners and executives as well as pre and post retirees. I feel fortunate to be able to work in a role that provides a great deal of satisfaction through the ongoing relationships I’ve developed.
When I am not working I enjoy remaining active, traveling and assimilating other cultures. I follow several sports including Formula 1, EPL and NBA. My idea of relaxation is sharing a whisky with family/friends surrounded by nature.

I was born in Nowra NSW and grew up in Tasmania as a young child. We moved around a lot as Dad was in the navy and then started managing hotels. Moving schools wasn’t as hard as it may have been, as I have a twin sister, so we always had each other for support. We eventually moved to Perth when I was in year 5.
Following school, I wasn’t sure what I wanted to do so got my first job working for the Grain Pool of WA, in Accounts admin and then Contract admin buying and selling grain to farmers around WA.
I decided to go travelling in 1997. Working for Deutsche Bank in the UK, was where I started my enjoyment in the finance industry. Returning to WA, I realised I wasn’t quite ready for the quieter pace of life, so moved to Sydney and joined Deutsche Bank there for a couple of years. I finally decided to come home to WA in 2003.
I worked my way through various roles in finance including, stock broking, client services, paraplanning, operations and compliance before deciding on a financial advisor. I joined Blueprint Wealth in 2014.
I have a partner and a teenage daughter who keeps me busy with her netball. We love to try new restaurants, play board games and enjoy getting out and about on weekends.

Born in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, I moved to Western Australia with my parents at the age of 2 to settle into a country that we hoped would bring better opportunities and a better future. I still have some recollection of following my parents around – my dad whilst he was farming and my mum as she was sewing uniforms till late. It was these earlier struggles that I went through with my parents at such a young age that I often still look back on now and appreciate what previous generations had to go through to make things work and make a living for themselves and their children. It opened my eyes to the importance of financial security.
One of the common topics I speak to clients about is change and how to deal with this. I went through quite a few changes myself to get to where I am today. I started with Commerce/Accounting studies in school but ventured into Architectural design for a brief period before completing my Bachelor of Business (Marketing and Finance). I took on different positions, whilst completing my university degree that revolved around customer service, which I enjoyed a lot as I really got to know my customers and their needs in order to find the product/service that would suit them. I was first exposed to customer service in high school as I was working at my parents’ supermarket for a few years. Taking after my parents, I have also had a go with running small businesses of my own and managing my own marketing and sales especially for my online business in recent years. I have learnt to embrace change but have also understood how important it is to have back up plans in case your initial one does not work out. For these reasons, I found myself drawn to Financial Planning and eventually chose to pursue a long-term career in this field.
I started my Financial Planning journey at the AMP Horizons Academy as a new Financial Advisor in 2017 before stepping into the Associate role that has helped me build my skills by being heavily involved in the financial planning process over the past 5 years. This experience has enabled me to realize how I can help clients with their roadmap toward a better financial future, and always strive to learn and build on my skills so I can help more clients in the future.
I enjoy traveling and frequently make trips back to Vietnam to really understand that part of my heritage. I have always been interested in learning different languages including my native tongue and spend my spare time figuring this out by watching international dramas or movies as well as singing karaoke. I also enjoy exercising, baking, and watching Tennis.
Vy Nguyen joined the Blueprint Wealth team in 2020. She holds a Diploma of Financial Planning, Bachelor of Business (Marketing and Finance) and Master of Financial Planning.
Vy works closely with Brad Martin to provide services to clients and assist them with advice strategies to help them achieve their financial goals and meet their aspirations.
Vy is also fluent in Vietnamese.
Growing up, and starting at the age of 13, I spent most of my weekends and school holidays, working with my parents in a printing and packaging company. Although I was away from my friends, I am grateful that I was able to develop an understanding of money and time early on.
From working in this printing and packaging company up until I graduated from University, I experienced and appreciated the stages of planning, production and shipping of the product. What made it more special, was being able to work with my parents and eventually, my younger siblings too.
Eventually, I graduated from Curtin University with a Bachelor of Commerce, initially with interest only for driving and strategizing business growth. After four years of working within the construction, taxation and financial services industry, I realised my passion was actually helping people. People like my parents, siblings, friends and myself, whom never got more than basic education during school on how superannuation worked, how to budget, where to go to invest and what are the available investment options.
Naturally, I began my education and career in financial planning and I have not turned back. I believe this is how I want to help people. As a full circle, I began to further understand that money/wealth means something different for everyone, depending on their time/stages of life. And just like the printing and packaging company, the stages of planning all the way through to advice delivery for people, is my biggest driver in becoming a financial advisor, to help people achieve their financial and personal goals.
Outside of work, I enjoy running and weightlifting to keep active. To explore, I enjoy hiking (especially Bluff Knoll in freezing temperatures) and travelling abroad when I can. To relax, I enjoy reading and playing a round of golf.
Johnson joined Blueprint Wealth team in 2022. He has been working in the financial planning industry since 2018. Johnson holds a Graduate Diploma of Financial Planning and also a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in Economics and Management).
Johnson works closely with Daniel Viola & Jarryd Thraves to provide services to clients and assist them with advice strategies to help them achieve their financial goals and objectives.
It’s an interesting story how I found my way into financial planning. I had been attending university for a couple of years and changed my majors a few times as I had yet to really find a career path that I could see myself having a passion for. A father of close friends of mine who I met at high school (twin brothers actually) was a financial planner and ran his own business. I would often hear of client stories and how he was developing plans to help his clients achieve their goals and was fascinated by how he did this. One day I decided to have a serious chat to him and he explained exactly what he did and from that point I knew what I wanted to do in life.
In 2013 my life changed forever. My Mother and twin sister passed away suddenly. Their passing changed my perspective in life but not in a negative way. It made me realise how life is not predictable, that life is about creating memories and experiences, that goals and priorities change and even the best plans need to have flexibility. We are all on a different path in life trying to arrive at a different destination and these paths will change as we progress through our lives. This is something I am very mindful of when developing strategies for clients.
I’ve always liked to keep fit and active and a few years ago I decided to take this seriously by competing in body building competitions. Although at the time a big sacrifice, they taught me the importance of working hard, making sacrifices, being dedicated and most importantly committed to achieving a goal. I no longer compete but continue to carry these learnings into other parts of my life.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is someone who I admire for being so successful in many different aspects of his life. He has six rules for success with the last being to give something back. I genuinely love what I do and it’s this rule of giving back using my education and experience to help those who are in need that drives me. There are many other industries and roles I could work in however I am here because I choose to be and that I wish to help clients in any way I can.
When I am not at work I enjoy a gym session at my local Fitstop and grabbing a coffee for a walk along the coast. My Mother always wanted me to travel so when time permits I like to head overseas and explore and experience new cultures and make memories that will last a lifetime.
Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Majoring in Financial Planning) from Curtin University, he has previously completed his Certified Financial Planner® and Specialist Superannuation Adviser® designations as well as specialist studies in aged care, margin lending and direct equities.

Born and raised as a Perth local from an English/German background, I gravitated towards basketball and cricket, thanks to my height and passion for sports. Growing up as a young man, I have found solace and excitement in weightlifting, martial arts, camping, and hiking. The challenges these activities present have helped me develop discipline, resilience, and a strong sense of personal growth. They serve as reminders that growth often lies outside of our comfort zones, and I embrace the opportunity to push my boundaries every day.
Whilst studying Economics and Finance at Curtin University, I got my start in financial planning towards the end of my degree in 2018. It was from my very first client experience I knew I wanted to stay in financial planning as I find immense purpose in this profession as it allows me to assist people in meeting their lifestyle needs and securing their financial future.
It was from there I found my way to Blueprint Wealth in 2023 as an Associate Adviser. Driven by a thirst for exploration, personal growth, and the desire to help others, I strive to lead a fulfilling life. My diverse interests and experiences shape my character, enabling me to approach each day with enthusiasm and an open mind. I originally hailed from Myanmar (Burma) before calling Perth home. I came to Perth 19 years ago to further my studies. Since I was young, my parents have brought me up to be diligent, disciplined, and cultural. Saving is second nature for us since there is no such thing as Government benefits in Myanmar. I started working at an early age, even dipping my toes in catwalk modeling which I was passionate about.
I have done extensive studies in the Commerce areas, including accounting, finance, management, economics, and even IT. I graduated from the Curtin University of Technology with a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance & Information System).
I have worked in many different businesses, from a stock broking firm to one of the Big Four banks before setting my heart on financial planning.
The financial planning industry is constantly evolving for the better, and this certainly resonates with me. I have had over 10 years in the finance industry and embrace every challenge. I thrive working in a high-pressure environment and relish in providing solutions to my clients in time of need.
I am a family person through and through, a full-time working super mum to two very active boys, and happily married. I am at my happiest when I am at home with my boys cooking my traditional Burmese dishes and trying different types of food. Entertaining is my forte, I enjoy sharing food and culture with my family and friends.
Hnin joined the Blueprint team in 2021. She works closely with Brad Martin & Vy Nguyen to deliver a client’s first experience.
Hnin is also fluent in Burmese.
Growing up, my fascination with finance and the intricacies of the world was influenced by my father’s profession as an accountant. Our conversations often revolved around taxation and the possibilities that arise when one is well-versed in the nuances of financial regulations. Upon completing my university education, I found myself immersed in the financial planning industry, initially drawn in through a company that also offered salary packaging consulting. It was through this experience that I witnessed firsthand the profound impact our strategies could have on the lives of our clients, fulfilling my desire to assist others in achieving their financial goals.
Rooted in my Greek heritage, family holds profound importance for me, serving as a constant reminder of the values instilled in me by my grandparents, parents, siblings and cousins. Reflecting on the satisfaction of helping clients, I am reminded of how my own family members would react to being in a better financial position – this thought drives me to excel in this industry.
Outside of work, I find joy in playing, coaching, and refereeing volleyball, immersing myself in the camaraderie of the sport. Additionally, I am an avid gym-goer, embracing all aspects of fitness and indulging in the pleasures of good food, often documenting my culinary adventures through photography. In both my professional and personal pursuits, I am committed to making a positive impact, fuelled by a passion for helping others and a dedication to continuous growth and learning.
Kosta joined Blueprint Wealth team in 2024. He has been working in the financial planning industry since 2020. Kosta holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Majoring Finance) from Curtin University.

I was born and raised in Perth by my parents and have one brother. Growing up my mum was a stay-at-home mum, and my dad was a Quantity Surveyor who ran his own business. I watched my Dad grow his career and business to great success, and often remember him talking about business challenges and successes. His drive and work ethic are something I aspire to and something I have adopted in my life and often go to him for business advice.
After finishing school, I went to Curtin University and commenced a Bachelor of Commerce. At that stage, I was not sure what to major in, but was drawn to numbers and wanted to help people so choose Financial Planning as my major. Whilst studying I started working with Blueprint part-time in 2002 to get experience in the industry. I immediately loved this real-world experience and the ability to see how we as Financial Advisors have the ability to help people become financially confident and make a difference in people’s lives.
I continued on at Blueprint after graduating and over my career at Blueprint I have worked in various roles in the team from Reception to Paraplanner to Financial Advisor and is now the team’s General Manager. As the General Manager, I am responsible for overseeing the team’s compliance, operations, people management, culture, and finance. I am passionate about making Blueprint an employer of choice for the team and championing flexibility and women in the workplace. I am a member of the Leadership team and a shareholder in the business.
I believe my tenure and experience working in all roles in the business gives me unique insight into how the business runs, and an understanding of different stakeholders and client needs. I am proud of the team we have built and have helped to grow from 4 to over 40 employees during my time at Blueprint.
Personally, I am married with one son and a dog. As a family, we love being active and traveling together to build experiences we will look back on forever. I have a close circle of girlfriends who I love to spend time with, seek advice, and enjoy trying new places.
Bree has been with Blueprint Wealth since 2002. Bree holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Financial Planning), is a Certified Financial Planner®, Graduate Certificate in Small Business Management and has completed her Masters of Business Administration.
I was born and raised on a small farm in the countryside of Taranaki, New Zealand with my parents and three siblings. My dad owned a building business and my Mum did the bookwork. My parents were hard workers and always had many projects on the go at the same time. I think this helped shape me today to give anything a go and think outside the box.
After school I moved to Dunedin to study a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Finance and Economics at Otago University. Once I finished my degree in 2012, I decided to spread my wings and moved to Perth on my own. I worked for a few months at an agricultural machinery company before landing a job at a financial planning firm as a receptionist.
From here I have worked in administration, client services, paraplanning and I now manage the paraplanning team to come up with the best financial strategy for individual clients and maintain our high compliance standards at Blueprint Wealth. I have always been a natural with numbers and this is where my strengths lie. Now I get to couple this with motivating a team of individuals to work together which I really enjoy.
After five years in Perth I moved back to New Zealand to be closer to friends and family and continue to work remotely for Blueprint Wealth who I have now been with for over 7 years. I live with my partner and have two small dogs. In my spare time I love finding new places to take my dogs for a walk, painting and playing squash.
Jana Wilson joined the Blueprint Wealth team in 2015. Originally from New Zealand, Jana settled in Perth in 2013. Jana brings nine years of paraplanning and client services experience to the team. As Paraplanning Manager Jana oversees the advice preparation process, ensuring compliance and technical competence.
Jana holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Majoring in Finance and Economics) from the University of Otago in New Zealand, an Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning and is Self-Managed Superannuation Fund accredited.
I grew up in Geraldton in the mid-west of Western Australia. It was just after high school I was feeling a little isolated and limited in opportunities for what direction I wanted my career path to go. I decided it was time to become completely independent and move to the big smoke, Perth. It was here I started a reception role within a financial planning practice where I found myself more and more intrigued and impressed with the advice the advisers where providing to their clients and the financial outcomes they achieved. I had an incredibly supportive manager who identified I had a very strong work ethic and confirmed I had their complete support if I wanted to commence study in financial planning. It was here my career commenced.
I have worked as a receptionist, client services, associate adviser and paraplanner within the industry and paraplanning is where I have well and truly found my passion. It’s here we get to work on various strategies to ensure the strategy we recommend will be in the best interest of each individual client. Running multiple modeling scenarios whilst researching products on the market to identify what will suit each particular client best is where I thrive.
Aside from being a paraplanner, I am also a group fitness instructor. I decided to take a leap into group fitness instructing as in my spare time I enjoyed attending these classes but I identified I lacked confidence when it came to being in front of people. Whether it was introducing myself to new people or trying to assert myself into group conversations, I struggled. So, I thought what better way to grow my confidence than to put myself up on a stage in front of 40 participants for 1 hour. 7 years on I still absolutely love taking these classes. The personal growth and confidence I have found from initially putting myself in an uncomfortable situation along with the friends I have made has been well worth it.
I adore spending time with my family. My husband and I have been together for 15 years and we have a 1-year-old son in which we are thoroughly enjoying the crazy ride of parenthood. Being a mother is so much more rewarding than I could have ever hoped and being only 1 year in, I can’t imagine what future years have in store. I love to travel and explore this wonderful world we live in and spending time with my incredible bunch of friends.
I am a country girl at heart spending the majority of my childhood in the small wheatbelt town of Lake Grace. I grew up in a household where the only time my parents would ever argue was when they were doing their budget. My sister and I used to roll our eyes, laugh and say ‘their doing their budget again.’ I was starting to see the impact money has on people’s lives. This, combined with being good at and liking maths in school led me to the big smoke where I completed a degree in Accounting and Financial Planning in 2010.
I started out in a career in accounting before realising my passion was more in helping people with their personal finances. I began working at Blueprint Wealth in 2011 as a Paraplanner before moving into an Associate Adviser role. After 5 years, itchy feet and meeting my lifelong partner, who works fifo, I left Blueprint Wealth on a journey that saw me grow and expand my life experiences and knowledge as I worked in a Financial Advisor role, moved to Port Hedland, began working remotely, became a Certified Money Coach and Certified Financial Planner, managed to schedule a few tug boats onto some ships, bought a house and got married. Fewww!
I’ve since worked at Blueprint Wealth for another three years where I work remotely as a Paraplanner researching and preparing financial advice for clients from the sunny remote town of Exmouth, which we now call home. My time off is spent surfing, fishing, traveling and keeping fit.
Over my time I’ve been exposed to the effects of financial pressures on people’s lives and the impact financial decisions have over the long term. It is here I have a passion for ensuring people are making the best financial decisions and managing their money in the best way for them today and for their future.
I spent some of my childhood in South Africa before my parents immigrated to Australia when I started primary school. Growing up, I watched my parents start their lives in a new country from scratch, whilst doing their best to give my siblings and me every opportunity.
It was when my now husband was discharged from the Defence Force and we decided to move our lives to Kalgoorlie that my interest in financial planning peaked. We were young parents, having our first child at 24 and moving to a country town for my husband’s career in Mining was daunting, however, turned out to be the best decision of our lives. We knew our time living there was limited, my husband worked away most of the time, and having no family support and a young baby on our own was lonely and tough. We decided to make the most of our time in Kalgoorlie and plan for our eventual return to Perth, hoping to set ourselves up financially.
It was then that I decided to start studying a Diploma of Financial Planning whilst being a stay-at-home mum to our daughter Scarlett. Following this, I contacted a local Financial Planning practice and asked for a job, where I ended up working in a Paraplanning role until we left Kalgoorlie 3 years later and returned to Perth.
In the 4 years since we’ve been back in Perth, I’ve worked in Associate and Paraplanning roles in private practices and also for a Big 4 bank. I’ve completed further study whilst working full-time and juggling my husband’s FIFO roster with 2 kids. Paraplanning is where my love of Financial Planning is, I enjoy getting stuck into modeling multiple scenarios, researching, and building strategies for clients, some of which are strategies we have applied to our own lives.
My husband and I have now been together for 11 years and have 2 daughters aged 8 and 4. We’ve built our dream beachside home and our girls keep us busy with sports and after-school activities which we juggle alongside our full-time careers. We spend much of our days at the beach and life is exactly how I dreamed it to be all those years ago when we were young parents with no clue, and only hope to give our girls the best in life. Now that our kids are a bit older, we have plans to travel overseas regularly and hope to see much more of the world together.
I grew up in the Perth hills in a close-knit family where both my parents worked but my mum managed the families’ financial affairs. She was an excellent money manager and encouraged my sister and I to be the same by opening a savings account to save for our first car when we started working.
My first role was in a stockbroking firm at the age of 18 and there I experienced the crash of 1987 and also saw the rebuild of the markets after. From here I learned that markets are cyclic and its often best to hold on for the ride and not panic.
I have worked in the Financial Planning industry since 2010 and have worked in many roles including working as a Financial Adviser after completing the Advanced Diploma in Financial Planning. I now use my experience to work as an Associate Adviser and have a passion for this industry and love helping people achieve their financial goals.
Outside of work I am a mum to two young adult daughters who are always teaching me and challenging me. I try and teach them the same philosophies about saving for their future as my mum taught me and my oldest is in the process of building her first home at the age of 22. The youngest is driving 600 tonne trucks working FIFO at the age of 18 and plans to buy her first car with cash after one year of working so it seems they are on track to achieve their goals and am excited to see what their futures bring.
I love the outdoors and have two robust dogs who my partner and I enjoy taking to the beach and taking in the sun and sand during summer or bush walking in winter. We also enjoy bike riding and are currently renovating an old house together which will be challenging but I am excited to see the end result after our hard labours.

I was born and raised in Townsville, North Queensland. From the age of 14 I worked within the hospitality industry within fast food, café’s restaurants and bars while still at school. I graduated high school and commenced study to become a Nurse. I realised pretty early on that it wasn’t something I was passionate enough about and decided to take my time to decide what I wanted to do with my life.
At 19 years old, I decided to take on a new challenge and opted to move to Perth with my family. It was a scary move but I was ready for new chapter of my life to begin. I worked within hospitality for another 18 months but I quickly found I was losing my passion and drive within hospitality. A regular customer of a café I was working at mentioned to me that they had an opening for a customer service officer at their office just upstairs and encouraged me to apply.
This was my foot in the door within a new industry, finance and customer support, and I was able to build up my experience and knowledge and confidence over the next few years. In February 2019 I commenced working in the Superannuation industry as a member services consultant where I quickly progressed into an insurance claim’s role. This role helped me realised that my true passion has always been centred around building connections and relationships with my clients.
In mid-2019 I had gastric sleeve surgery, which changed my life in so many ways. I lost over 40kgs within 6 months and gained a new lease on life. Over the last few years, I have thrown myself into exercise and maintaining a healthy balanced lifestyle. In my spare time I enjoy reading a good book, drinking coffee, spending time with my friends and a good gym session.
Jasmine works closely with Daniel Viola and Jarryd Thraves and their clients to provide support and guidance through all stages of their financial planning journey
I was born and raised in Perth Western Australia by my mum and my older brother. As I was growing up, I started to develop a passion for helping others which would stem from consistently seeing my mum come home after working with special needs children every day. For a long period of my childhood and adolescent life, my mum, brother and I lived with my grandfather and he used to explain to me the importance of a successful financial position so one day I can raise a beautiful family. During those years, I worked hard at Curtin University to one day work within the finance industry and be able to help out many different demographics to a positive financial position. As I was studying, I took up a casual role at David Jones to improve my social skills and had a love for fashion. Immediately, I had a passion for styling customers through my knowledge of fashion trends discovered on Instagram in my spare time and the leadership team were very great to work for; I had made long-time friends, developed organisation skills and within 2 years had joined the David Jones management team guiding my own portfolio and team.
At the end of 2019, I graduated from Curtin University with a double degree in Finance and Marketing. At this stage, I was in a great position at David Jones and wasn’t ready to leave as I was building up on my leadership skills and developing a strong team. Shortly after, an Australian Boutique approached me for a new position within Karrinyup Shopping Centre as a Store Manager; Aje was an amazing brand to work for and I loved every minute of it. During my time at Aje; I was able to learn more about fashion and styles with the Australian and International Fashion Industry. I was lucky enough to have opportunities to represent the brand travelling nationally and internationally at shows, festivals and conferences. During this time, I met and learnt from so many powerful motivational leaders about women’s leadership within different work environments.
Most recently, a trip to Sydney for Aje had me realise that I was prepared for change and ready to take on my grandfather’s advice to build up a successful career in an area that I worked so hard to achieve. I am very passionate and experienced within customer service as I have been able to build up my skills for over 6 years in this industry. I love spending time with my family, friends and doggies! You will always find me outside soaking up that sunshine in summer & heading on a road trip to our lovely wine region during our winter!

I was born and raised in Yorkshire, England by my parents. I have 2 brothers, one younger and one older. Growing up, I was very close to my family and spent most weekends and school holidays setting off for picnics and camping. Together, we explored most of the UK (including just about every Stately Home and Castle), we had mum to thank for that. Dad was a keen fisherman, and I used to love spending time fishing with him. I was equally close to mum, who was always there for support and guidance.
After leaving school, I started working for an Insurance Company and then into Banking and worked for one of the major banks for many years (you could say that I have always had a passion for numbers).
My husband, Mark, and I have 3 wonderful children, aged 28, 20, and 16 and a cheeky 2-year-old English Cocker Spaniel called Winston.
We are a very close unit and love spending time together, including going out for meals and attending concerts and the cinema together. As a family, we love to travel and have been very lucky to enjoy holidays in some amazing places, especially Florida, Turks & Caicos, Maldives, and many places around Europe.
When our eldest son was 16, we decided to make the big move to Perth, Australia. The main reason for the move was the weather, and, ‘why not, it’ll be an adventure’. We have been in Perth for 12 years now and truly call it home. We spend most of our holidays exploring WA and have visited some beautiful places whilst supporting our youngest son with his golf career.
We are currently building a new home in the Northern Suburbs and are so excited to start on our new adventure.

I have over 30 years of experience in the financial services industry having previously worked in the Finance and Banking sectors, both here in WA and in the UK. Prior to joining Blueprint Wealth, I operated my own Mortgage Broking business.

Born and raised in Colombo, Sri Lanka, at a very young age, my parents made the life-changing decision to move to Australia, making us the first generation in our family to live overseas. My parents have always worked incredibly hard to provide our family with the best life possible – they are my biggest inspiration and have ingrained in me the value of hard work, determination, and resilience. Watching my parents work so hard to create a better life for us has instilled in me a strong work ethic and a drive to succeed.
Fueled by a passion for economics, mathematics, and finance since my schooling years, I envisioned a path that merged my interests with academic pursuits. While my initial plans of volunteering and traveling across Asia in my gap year were derailed by the pandemic, I remained adaptable. Transitioning into the banking and financial services sector post-schooling, I was lucky enough to have exposure to a couple of different roles within the bank which allowed me to build invaluable knowledge and skills. What began as a temporary detour had transformed into a two-and-a-half-year journey where I had my most proud achievements, met my best friends, and found a true passion for helping others with their financial aspirations and getting the best outcomes.
In 2023, fueled by my experiences in financial services, I decided to transition into financial planning – a journey that resonated with my upbringing and aspirations. There’s a real satisfaction in connecting with clients, understanding their needs, and tailoring solutions that empower them to achieve their goals. It’s now a role I envision pursuing long-term, I am committed to continual growth and learning within this dynamic field, with aspirations to evolve into a financial adviser one day.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends whom I cherish very much. I am also a proud parent to my fur baby whom I take for long walks and “puppucinos” on most Sunday mornings. More recently, I have been making a conscious effort to focus on my health and fitness which has been going really well. Over the next few years, I hope to finally fulfill my travel plans in Asia and now I’ve added Europe to my list of destinations!

I was born in Perth WA and lived here for some time before moving to the east. Over the course of my early years I lived in Queensland, NSW and Victoria. But eventually my family moved back to Western Australia and I spent my formative years in Clifton Park near Bunbury. I finished primary and high school there. During this time my passions were golf, music and skateboarding. These activities all taught me the perseverance reigns supreme and to never give up on something if you don’t get it at the first go.
A highlight during my time at high school was representing my school attending a state business school competition. My team won that competition and we were sent to represent Western Australia in the national competition in Sydney. It was during this time that I developed an interest in business and I went on to study accounting after leaving school. Though I completed this study I also realised I don’t want to pursue a career in accounting.
I found myself working in financial services and have worked at many large institutions in both Perth and Melbourne. I have worked in superannuation, funds management and stock broking. I always seemed to end up being someone who develops a keen understanding of how the systems used function and I loved diving deeper into the technical aspects. I have worked in leadership roles and technical roles during this time. One of my biggest accomplishments prior to working at Blueprint Wealth was completing a project to develop a tax reporting system for option trading.
My roles at Blueprint Wealth include looking after the IT systems and managing a team of 11 amazing support staff. I really enjoy the varied aspects of my position and opportunities faced every day. I am very proud of the people and company I work with.
Outside of work my interests and hobbies include: yoga, meditation, marital arts, tai chi, general exercise, pc gaming, music, reading, golf, bushwalking, camping, cooking, painting minatures and building and flying model RC planes / FPV Quadcopters. In the 33 seconds a week I have spare I like to spend my time looking for another hobby to occupy this free time.
Loretta Watson joined the Blueprint Wealth client services team in 2016 and brings extensive customer service experience across various industries; including oil and gas, medical and vehicle hire. Loretta brings fantastic client service skills and prides herself on delivering superior customer service.
When I was little and started earning pocket money, I remember my dad explaining to me that I had to split up my two dollars into the four different sections of my money box. After setting some aside for Charity, Wealth and Savings, I was left with only $1.40 for spending. I was devastated – in that 6-year-old way – and confused as to why I had less than my $2 to use as I liked. Now as an adult I understand what he was teaching me.
I was born in Melbourne, but I was raised overseas. I had the opportunity to live in Singapore, London and Hong Kong. Those places taught me patience, acceptance and understanding – values which I still hold in high regard. My parents, younger siblings and I moved to Perth just before my 10th birthday, and we have been here ever since.
I started working when I was 15 at my local cinema in a customer service role. I really enjoyed that job and the people I met there. So much so, that I stayed for nearly a decade! After graduating Year 12 and some hiccups with university, I started a Certificate II in Auslan in 2018. I enjoyed it so much, that I continued until I had achieved a Diploma of Auslan and a Diploma of Interpreting at the end of 2020. With these qualifications in hand, I started working as a Communication Guide for Deaf and Deaf Blind in 2021 while still working at the cinema.
I’m passionate about customer service, and I’m looking forward to utilising my skills to contribute to an enjoyable experience for our clients. In my free time, I enjoy flexing my creativity with knitting and crochet, and I love to relax with a good book or a podcast.

I am born and bred in WA and love the Australian way of life. My parents worked hard to raise three children and keep the family close. My father was a doctor who worked long hours and my mother was a “stay at home” mum providing enormous support to myself and my siblings. Seeing how hard my two parents worked to provide and support me through childhood, provided me with a great background when I was faced with being a single mum with two of my own children to support.
I haven’t always worked in the financial world spending many of my early years following my dream of being a ballerina. It’s here I developed my sense of dedication and commitment to the task and also the sense of enjoyment at working hard at something to get results. Unfortunately, the world of theatre did not continue long for me and I then pursued my next love and interest which was medical. I worked for nine years as a laboratory assistant in Microbiology at Fremantle Hospital which I loved and then travelled to see more of the world.
On my return through a close friend, I decided to try my hand at Superannuation getting my first position with AMP in the “managed funds” area in the Perth Office. This is where I started to hone my skills around large corporate superannuation plans. I have also worked with other Superannuation administrators, NSP Buck, Mercer and one other financial planning practice before transferring to Blueprint Wealth in 2012 to help them develop their large corporate super arm of the business.
I have been with Blueprint Wealth now for over 10 years. Blueprint Wealth has been extremely supportive to me as a single working mum and allowed great flexibility in my working role. I do get a great sense of satisfaction helping members understand their super and insurance cover and guiding them through the insurance claim process which can be very daunting at times.
Blueprint Wealth also do a lot of pro bono work for the WA Cancer Council which I assist and get involved in. Being able to help people when they are struggling financially to become more financially secure through their disability insurance claims can be very rewarding.
Life is not just about working hard so in my spare time I love doing Tai Chi. I find it incredibly relaxing and can help lower the stress levels of life. I also still dabble a little in dancing at my daughter’s dance school where I joined the “seniors” dance group to keep fit but found myself performing again at some dance competitions and end of year concerts which was both daunting and a lot of fun.
Tessa has worked in the Corporate Superannuation Industry for more than 30 years.
Tessa’s role as Corporate Superannuation Manager at Blueprint Wealth is to maintain a high level of customer service for large corporate super plans. It involves conducting day to day administration tasks and looking after group insurance queries for underwriting and death and disability claims. Tessa also works closely with the employer/HR departments to provide assistance with their default super plan and also the individual members of the plan to make certain they understand what their plan membership offers them in regards to building their super for the future and the importance of their insurance cover.
Vera brings a wealth of client relationship management experience having worked for 5 years in that role at Blueprint Wealth. Vera is now studying part-time and working part-time as part of our Client Services team. She is responsible for connecting with prospective clients and setting appointments for our financial planning team.
